Learning Ana Popović’s name through the gift that keeps on giving, NAMM Show, I immediately delved into her live performance clips and discography and uncovered a fascinating artist dedicated to the craft, soulfully shredding at the elite level in sky high heels. Accomplishing things like battling back and recording her album “Power” during a bout with breast cancer while the COVID pandemic raged makes it all the more impressive.

I luckily caught up with Ana earlier this year to discuss a myriad of musical topics- her introduction to the blues greats in Belgrade, splitting her time between the US and Europe, sharing stages with B.B.
