As the clocks winds down on 2025, October’s the perfect time to reflect upon my favorite interviews of the year. One such standout was my convo with Berlin based Canadian born guitarist AfroDiziac. It’s not every day you come across a Gibson 2025 Artist Spotlight-endorsed and Marshall Amps supported musician whose skills harken back to legendary hard rock guitar gods. Hearing his influences in his playing, he adds his own distinct flavor that’s uniquely his to every blazing song and performance. Getting cosigns by Dave Kushner and recently touring with The Darkness, his latest album “Vanity Affair”, dropped in June, scorches and simultaneously soothes for 21 minutes, easily making the listener want to hit “Play” again.
